Time To End Dodd Frank Law?

When you have incompetent politicians making laws that they know nothing about, you know we were heading for trouble. Look, people are angry at Wall Street after 2008 financial crisis, but when you have politicians passing laws with big consequences. You know we were heading for disaster.

Can ETF Bring Down Global Markets?

I have been studying ETF for the past couple of years and got me thinking are they growing too fast. The global sector for exchange traded fund is now $3.3tn and growing. Most of it is the U.S $2.4tn. Although I seldom recommend them to clients, because I'm not a big fan of passive investments; but I think that they are out of control.

Is The Brexit Hangover Past?

Our firm been getting calls, emails and texts from clients all weekend about how Brexit will affect their investments and their business. As the founder and president of our boutique firm, I'm here to reassure them to remain calm, and that Great Britain will continue to trade with it's EU trade partners. Let me be the first to say not every firm was prepared or had a back up plan as we did, that's why I founded our firm, I was tired of all the bureaucracy I saw at larger firms which creates paralysis analysis in a crisis, where everyone think alike and everyone is scared to speak their mind or getting somebody offended, because of fear of being fired. Anyone with a 10th grade education or took a world history class could have predicted a brexit; What sad was that world leaders and business leaders did not have a brexit folder ready.
