I have been studying ETF for the past couple of years and got me thinking are they growing too fast. The global sector for exchange traded fund is now $3.3tn and growing. Most of it is the U.S $2.4tn. Although I seldom recommend them to clients, because I'm not a big fan of passive investments; but I think that they are out of control.
